Alexander P. Moya, M.D. has been invited to present at this year’s Weight Loss Surgery Foundation of America’s “Making a Difference” meeting. This annual fundraiser supports the mission of the nonprofit Weight Loss Surgery Foundation of America: ending obesity by empowering people to move from surviving to thriving through grants for medical treatments, including life-saving weight loss surgery, education, and support. This is also an opportunity for weight loss patients to meet and learn from a variety of professionals and specialists, as well as vendors of specialized products, such as nutritional supplements.
“Making a Difference” will take place May 19-21 at the Hilton Hotel in Portland, Oregon, and is expected to the be the largest gathering of weight loss surgery patients ever assembled.
As one of several sponsors of this event, Dr. Moya and Lewisburg Plastic Surgery are also directly helping the cause.
