Right in the middle of downtown Lewisburg is The Campus Theatre, an authentically and beautifully restored single-screen Art Deco movie theatre that has been in business since 1941, offering the latest and most interesting movies in a unique setting complete with murals and original lighting reminiscent of times gone by.
The Weis Center for the Performing Arts, a 1,200-seat architecturally striking and acoustically exceptional performance hall located within Bucknell University, has been presenting professional performances since 1988, with music, dance, and theater events. The Samek Art Museum at Bucknell University presently holds a collection of 5,000 objects highlighting the art of our time, as well as The Samel H. Kress Collection of Baroque and Renaissance, Japanese decorative art, modern and contemporary, and historic prints.
